Entity Settings
Identity, general settings, compliance IDs, branding, and entity lifecycle
Overview
An Entity in Meiver is the operational unit that owns batches, stages, QR codes, documents, and consumer pages. Every tenant has at least one entity. The Entity Settings page lets the Tenant Admin control:
- Identity: entity name, short code, and status
- General Settings: timezone, batch prefix, expiry alerts, temperature unit, default country of origin, contact details, and full address
- Compliance & Regulatory IDs: FSSAI, FDA, GLN, EU FBO numbers, and food safety certifications
- Consumer Page Branding: template style, brand colours, logo, favicon, footer text, and recall notifications
- Social Links: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube (Enterprise)
- Blockchain Identity: wallet address, chain ID, and public verification toggle (Enterprise)

Troubleshooting & FAQs
I cannot see Entity Settings in the menu.
Only Tenant Admins can access Entity Settings. If you are Ops Staff or a Viewer, the page is not available to you. Contact your Tenant Admin.
The entity code does not appear in my batch numbers.
The code is applied to new batches created after the code is saved. Existing batches retain their original batch numbers. Clear the code field and save to remove it from future batches.
My brand colours changed back to defaults after saving.
Colours must be valid 6-digit hex codes starting with #. If a field contained an invalid value the server discarded it and kept the previous value. Check your hex codes and try again.
I uploaded a logo but it does not appear on the consumer page.
Click Save branding after the upload success message appears. The logo URL is updated immediately but the branding form still needs to be saved to persist all settings together.
Social links fields are greyed out.
Social links are Enterprise-only. Upgrade your plan under Settings → Billing to unlock them.
The FSSAI / GLN field shows an error.
FSSAI requires exactly 14 numeric digits. GLN requires exactly 13 numeric digits. Ensure there are no spaces or letters.
I accidentally scheduled the entity for deletion. What do I do?
Go to the entity settings page (navigate directly by URL if needed), open the Identity tab, and click Restore entity. You have 30 days from when deletion was scheduled to restore.
The Public verification page toggle is disabled.
Public blockchain verification is an Enterprise-only feature. It is also greyed out if no wallet address is configured. Fill in the wallet address and chain ID fields first.
Social Links ENTERPRISE
Enterprise tenants can add social media profile URLs that appear in the footer of the consumer QR page. These are disabled and greyed out on Free and Pro plans.
All social URLs must start with
https://. The system validates the URL on save and will show an error if the format is incorrect.
