These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of meiver, including our website, dashboard, QR verification pages, APIs, integrations, analytics, recall tools, document tools, and related services.

By accessing or using meiver, you agree to these Terms. If you are using meiver on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the platform.

Definitions

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of meiver, including our website, dashboard, QR verification pages, APIs, integrations, analytics, recall tools, document tools, and related services.

  • “meiver,” “we,” “us,” or “our” means the provider of the meiver platform.
  • “Customer,” “you,” or “your” means the company, brand, manufacturer, distributor, agency, or individual using meiver.
  • “Authorized User” means any employee, contractor, consultant, operator, auditor, or team member invited to use a customer account.
  • “Consumer” means a person who scans a meiver-powered QR code or visits a public verification page.
  • “Customer Data” means all product, batch, certificate, document, recall, user, QR, and other information uploaded, submitted, generated, or managed by a customer.
  • “Services” means the meiver platform and related products, features, APIs, websites, dashboards, support, and tools.

Eligibility and authority

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms.

If you use meiver on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for all actions of your authorized users.

Service description

meiver provides software tools for traceability, verification, documentation, analytics, and recall-related workflows.

meiver may improve, modify, add, or remove features from time to time to improve security, performance, usability, compliance readiness, or platform quality.

  • Public consumer verification pages.
  • Certificate of Analysis uploads and display.
  • Document management.
  • Recall management.
  • Consumer notification workflows.

  • Related integrations and APIs.

No automatic guarantee of product truth

meiver helps customers organize, publish, and present product truth, but meiver does not automatically certify, validate, test, inspect, manufacture, regulate, or guarantee any product unless a separate written agreement expressly says so.

meiver is a software platform. It is not a laboratory, regulator, certifying authority, manufacturer, distributor, product safety consultant, legal advisor, or recall authority.

Customer is solely responsible for the truth, legality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of all product-related information uploaded, displayed, published, or shared through meiver.

  • Ingredient and allergen accuracy.
  • Nutrition accuracy.
  • Batch accuracy.
  • Laboratory report authenticity.

  • Claims made on public QR pages.
  • Claims made on packaging, ads, websites, or marketplaces.

Customer responsibilities

You agree to use meiver responsibly, lawfully, and only for legitimate business purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information uploaded, generated, displayed, or published through meiver is accurate, authorized, lawful, and appropriate for the intended audience.

  • Provide accurate account and billing information.
  • Use meiver only for lawful business purposes.
  • Upload only information you have the right to use and publish.
  • Maintain accurate batch and product records.
  • Keep recall status updated.
  • Comply with applicable food, pharma, labeling, advertising, consumer protection, data protection, and safety laws.
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials.
  • Manage user roles responsibly.
  • Prevent unauthorized access.
  • Promptly notify us of suspected account compromise.
  • Review public QR pages before publishing.
  • Ensure certificates and documents are valid, current, and legally publishable.

Public QR pages and consumer-facing information

meiver may allow you to publish product, batch, CoA, certification, recall, and brand information through QR scan pages.

You are responsible for all content displayed on these pages.

We may remove, hide, restrict, suspend, or disable QR pages or content if we believe they create legal, safety, security, reputational, regulatory, consumer, or platform risk.

  • You must not publish false product claims.
  • You must not publish misleading lab results.
  • You must not represent expired or invalid certificates as valid.
  • You must not publish unauthorized third-party documents.
  • You must not publish confidential supplier data without permission.
  • You must not publish personal data without proper legal basis.
  • You must not publish regulated claims without approval.
  • You must not publish content that violates law, public safety, consumer rights, or platform integrity.

Certificate of Analysis and lab reports

Customers may upload CoA documents and lab test results.

Unless separately agreed in writing, meiver does not independently test products or verify the authenticity of uploaded lab reports.

Displaying a CoA through meiver does not mean meiver has certified the product, approved the claim, endorsed the lab, guaranteed the result, or confirmed regulatory compliance.

Recall management

meiver provides tools to help identify batches, manage recall status, and notify consumers or stakeholders where enabled.

Customer remains fully responsible for deciding whether a recall is required and for complying with all recall, safety, regulator, retailer, distributor, consumer, and legal obligations.

meiver is not a substitute for legal, regulatory, food safety, pharma safety, crisis management, or product liability advice.

  • Deciding whether a recall is required.
  • Complying with regulatory recall obligations.
  • Notifying regulators, distributors, retailers, consumers, or other parties.
  • Publishing accurate recall information.
  • Taking corrective action.
  • Handling product returns, refunds, replacements, and safety measures.
  • Maintaining records required by law.

Acceptable use

You must not use meiver in a way that harms the platform, other customers, consumers, regulators, or the public.

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of this section.

  • Use meiver for unlawful purposes.
  • Upload malicious code or harmful files.
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the platform.
  • Bypass security controls.
  • Access data that does not belong to you.
  • Misrepresent product safety, quality, or verification status.
  • Use meiver to promote counterfeit products.
  • Upload fake certificates or fabricated lab reports.
  • Use QR pages for spam, phishing, malware, or fraud.
  • Violate third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Scrape, copy, or misuse platform data.
  • Interfere with other customers’ use of the platform.
  • Use meiver in a way that creates legal, security, safety, or reputational risk.

Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You must ensure that every authorized user has separate login credentials where possible.

You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by employees, contractors, agencies, operators, and administrators.

You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access, credential compromise, or misuse of your account.

Subscription, fees, and billing

Some services may be free. Paid plans, add-ons, batch limits, QR limits, storage limits, user limits, API usage, or enterprise features may require payment.

You agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges according to the selected plan, order form, invoice, or billing page.

Fees may be billed monthly, annually, usage-based, prepaid, postpaid, or as otherwise agreed.

Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

We may suspend access for unpaid invoices, failed payments, misuse, or billing fraud.

Free plans and trials

Free plans and trials may have limits on products, batches, users, documents, QR pages, analytics, recalls, support, or storage.

We may modify, restrict, or discontinue free plans or trials at any time.

Free plans are provided without warranty and may not include advanced security, support, uptime, retention, or recovery commitments.

Enterprise plans

Enterprise plans may include custom limits, service levels, support commitments, white-label features, public brand verification, tamper-proof records, dedicated account support, or additional commercial terms.

Enterprise terms may be governed by a separate written agreement or order form.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed enterprise agreement, the signed agreement will control for that customer.

Platform availability

We aim to keep meiver reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or delay-free service unless a separate written SLA applies.

We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, delayed alerts, failed scans, failed notifications, or interrupted access except where expressly agreed in writing.

  • Infrastructure issues.
  • Third-party provider outages.
  • Network issues.
  • Force majeure events.
  • Customer-side configuration issues.
  • Unexpected technical problems.

Integrations and third-party services

meiver may integrate with payment providers, notification services, email tools, analytics tools, cloud providers, logistics systems, lab systems, ERP systems, marketplace platforms, or other third-party services.

We are not responsible for third-party service failures, outages, pricing changes, data practices, errors, or security incidents outside our control.

Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Customer Data ownership

You retain ownership of Customer Data.

You grant meiver a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, analyze, back up, and use Customer Data only as necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the services.

We may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data for analytics, benchmarking, security, product improvement, and reporting, provided it does not identify a specific customer or individual.

Data backup and export

We may maintain backups for disaster recovery and security purposes.

Customers are encouraged to export and maintain their own copies of important product, batch, certificate, recall, and compliance records.

We are not responsible for customer failure to maintain independent records required by law, audit, retailer, regulator, or internal compliance process.

Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential information from the other.

Confidential information must be protected using reasonable care and used only for the purpose of performing obligations under these Terms.

Confidentiality obligations do not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, lawfully received from a third party, or required to be disclosed by law.

Intellectual property

meiver owns all rights in the platform, software, design, source code, workflows, dashboards, branding, trademarks, logos, documentation, templates, and technology.

You may not copy, modify, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from meiver without written permission.

Customers retain rights in their own brand assets, product data, documents, and uploaded content.

Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback, we may use them without restriction or compensation, provided we do not disclose your confidential information.

Beta features

We may offer beta, experimental, or early-access features.

Beta features may be incomplete, unstable, inaccurate, or changed without notice.

Beta features are provided “as is” and should not be relied on for critical legal, regulatory, recall, safety, or compliance decisions unless confirmed in writing.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect the platform, customers, consumers, regulators, the public, or our business.

You may stop using meiver or terminate your subscription according to your plan or agreement.

After termination, access to the platform may be disabled, and data may be deleted after the retention period unless legally required or otherwise agreed.

  • You violate these Terms.
  • Fees are unpaid.
  • Your account creates security risk.
  • Your use creates legal, regulatory, or reputational risk.
  • You upload false, harmful, illegal, or unsafe content.
  • You misuse QR verification or recall features.
  • Required by law, regulator, court, or government authority.
  • Your usage harms platform performance or other customers.

Disclaimers

The services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, accuracy of customer-uploaded data, accuracy of third-party lab reports, regulatory approval, product safety certification, recall success, consumer response, and commercial results.

meiver is a software platform, not a laboratory, regulator, certifying authority, legal advisor, recall authority, manufacturer, distributor, or product safety consultant.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, meiver will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our total liability for all claims will not exceed the amount paid by the customer to meiver in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

  • Loss of profit.
  • Loss of revenue.
  • Loss of goodwill.
  • Loss of business opportunity.
  • Loss of data caused by customer action.
  • Product liability claims.
  • Regulatory penalties caused by customer data or conduct.
  • Consumer claims arising from product defects.
  • Recall losses.
  • Counterfeit product losses.
  • Third-party service failures.
  • Unauthorized access caused by customer-side security failures.
  • Inaccurate, false, outdated, or unlawful customer-uploaded data.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless meiver, its directors, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, penalties, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the services or your breach of these Terms.

  • Your products.
  • Your product claims.
  • Your uploaded data.
  • Your public QR pages.
  • Your certificates or lab reports.
  • Your recall actions or failure to act.
  • Your violation of law.
  • Your infringement of third-party rights.
  • Your misuse of consumer data.
  • Your regulatory non-compliance.

Compliance with laws

You are responsible for complying with all laws applicable to your products, business, industry, data, labeling, advertising, manufacturing, safety, recall, and consumer communication practices.

This may include food safety, pharma, nutraceutical, FMCG, consumer protection, data protection, advertising, e-commerce, tax, export, and labeling laws.

meiver does not guarantee that your use of the platform automatically makes your business compliant.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

Courts located in [Namakkal,Tamil Nadu - 637205] will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we may notify users by email, dashboard notice, website notice, or other reasonable means.

Continued use of meiver after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
