Do my customers need to download an app?
No. Any modern phone camera reads the QR and opens the verification page in the browser. It loads in under 2 seconds on a normal mobile connection.
Do I have to redesign my packaging?
No. Add the QR to your existing label, a sticker, or an insert card. Many brands start with a sticker on current stock and move it onto the printed label at the next reprint.
We're a small team. Is this worth it at our size?

Can someone just copy my QR code?
A copied code still opens your real batch page, with your product, batch number and dates. If those don't match the pack in the customer's hand, they can see it straight away. That mismatch is exactly what a counterfeit can't hide.
