No. Any phone camera opens your product page directly in the browser, with no app, login or sign-up.
Do I have to redesign my packaging?
No. Add the QR to your existing label, a sticker or an insert card. Many brands start with a sticker on current stock and move it onto the printed label at the next reprint.
Do I need a different QR for every batch?
No. Each product has one QR pointing to its public page. The page includes batch lookup, so customers can find the exact batch they're holding. Your label artwork doesn't change for every production run.
Can someone just copy my QR code?
A copied code still opens your real product page, with your batches, dates and documents. If what's on the page doesn't match the pack in the customer's hand, they can see it straight away.
We're a small team. Is this worth it at our size?
The Free plan covers 5 SKUs and 20 batches a month, which is enough to run it on your bestsellers and see how customers respond before paying anything. Every plan has unlimited users.
Will the page show my brand, or meiver's?
Your brand. The consumer page carries your logo, colours and product photos. Full white-label, including your own domain such as trace.yourbrand.com, is on Enterprise.
What does blockchain anchoring actually add?
A cryptographic hash of the record is written to Polygon with the network, transaction ID and timestamp. If the record later changes, the public check shows a mismatch. Anchoring is available on Pro and Enterprise.
What happens if one batch needs to be recalled?
A recall is attached to the affected batch with its severity and a message for customers. Its page immediately shows a warning, and shoppers who opted in receive recall alerts by email. Your other batches are not affected.
